The intention of the project, The Supernova Natures, is to present a complex space that is my
utopian vision of the future. It is based on the current state of our planet and is a response to the
climate crisis, but instead of materializing and visualizing negative emotions or facts, it tries to
advance a vision where people live in harmony with nature. It unites people, nature and the
universe itself into one whole, and refers to the idea that we are all equal parts of it.
The work deals with the issue of so-called new alternative natures and potential forms of life in
them. It asks questions about species diversity and is based on the fact that everything, including
humans, is to a certain extent a product of cosmic radiation, the penetration of which on Earth
caused genetic mutations and accelerated evolution. This fact connects all living forms on our planet
and proves that we are one.

I chose mushrooms as a representative organism because of their ability
to regenerate, recycle and connect with the rest of nature. Fungi have survived all five mass
extinctions that our planet has experienced, and thus represent the solid foundation of these
alternative natures. Also, materials made from mycelium and its properties represent hope for a
more sustainable future. Such materials, developed by man, are one of the most ideal examples of
how humanity can work in harmony with nature and not against it.

I connect abstract visuals, living organisms, material trials and experiments, objects and photographs
generated by artificial intelligence. It thus combines all the important content elements that create this
utopian vision of the future. During the process, various collaborations arose, as cohesion and cooperation on one goal describe the idea of the work. The most important is the collaboration with the civil association Drž Huby!, which provided the mycelium materials and the live mushrooms themselves for the entire diploma thesis. I also collaborated with the clothing designer Eva Miklisová, who is interested in sustainable, zero- waste fashion, and for the project we designed clothing representing the idea of the entire work. The space in which the diploma thesis is located is complemented by sound, which was taken care of by Dominik Demčák.
The diploma thesis should not act primarily as a criticism of humanity. It is meant to point out the alarming
state we are in, but also to show that we have hope to reverse this critical situation. It is supposed to excite the viewer and help him realize that he is part of a larger whole, without which humanity itself cannot function.
Not only that, but it also emphasizes the importance of nature and its diversity and motivates the viewer to
act in harmony with it. The benefit of the work is the provision of a new, more positive view of the future
through the presentation of sustainable approaches and ideas.
