Dominika Ličkova is an artist, educator and researcher based in Bratislava, Slovakia. She is currently Assistant Professor of Photography and Visual Art.
Dominika Ličková graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Bratislava under Professor Milota Havránková, where she also earned her PhD. Additionally, she completed internships at FAMU (The Film and TV School of the Academy of Performing Arts) in Prague and at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam. Currently, she is actively involved in pedagogical work, serving as an assistant professor at VŠVU. Her photography are part of permament collection of Slovak National Gallery in Bratislava, Slovakia
Dominika is dedicated to independent artistic creation, specializing in photographing architecture and design. Her involvement extends to organizing multicultural events, curating exhibitions, and publishing.
She consistently exhibits her work both nationally and internationally. Her primary areas of interest encompass urban space, human geography, the transformation of places, the exploration of our world, and, more recently, the nuanced nature of family ties in her personal life.
